Live. Love.

So STATUS has a new shirt coming out. I am excited for a couple of reasons. 1) i think it is pretty sweet looking and 2) i believe it communicates exactly what I feel our mission in life is.

LIVE: live a life glorifying God. God loved us so much that he sent his son to die for our sins. To be loved like that, in an immeasurable way; we have the opportunity to serve Him in this life. And it is exciting to be part of a plan that will impact this world. We have the chance to LIVE for Him and give him the glory for everything that takes place in our life.

LOVE: love everyone we encounter. People are difficult at times and they are far from perfect, but inside all of us is a desire and longing to be loved. There is a mystery that takes place when one places their faith in Jesus. It isn't that he merely walks beside you...although, that does sound good. It is that he is IN YOU. The hope of the world rests in you and when you love...you love in a powerful way. Love should be the continuous thread through all ministries and all people who claim faith.

2 words that are so powerful and so defining. Everything else flows out of doing these 2 things.
