Can you believe 2 days until the team is heading off to Mexico? As beautiful as the view is as you approach Cancun, the poverty is striking the further away you get from the tourist area. The beauty is breath-taking, but the need is immense.
Where we are staying is at a church in Playa Del Carmen. It is a 7 minute drive from the 5th Avenue scene and people are flooding to this area. Population growth is averaging 30% annually!
Churches must be planted and churches that exist need to expand their ability to reach people in their community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We are taking our gloves, hammers, levels with us to help the work that is under way. Please be praying for our team of students:

The weather looks to be a typical summer setup with highs in the upper 80s and lows in the mid 70s with a chance of rain every afternoon. Hello humidity!
