This morning, Gracey and I went to Wal-Mart and finished our packing list for Mexico. She is already packed! And I, well, I have all my stuff at least. This is the point and time in the trip where you know you have done what you can do and you pray that God would show up in more spectacular ways than you could ever imagine.
On Sunday we will be worship in Spanish. Chances are we will have the opportunity to share and even lead a song. If you have ever been overseas, you know that this is a special time. There are moments when you have no clue what people are saying or singing or even going on, but the one certainty is that you can feel the presence of God.
That is one of my hopes for our students and leaders and for the people at the church called Cristo Rey; that we would collectively feel the presence and holiness of God. That feeling it would lead to embracing it and worshiping Him.
If you want to send our group off on Saturday morning, we will be in the Eastbrook Church parking lot at 5:30am.
